Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Bá Nha has nearly 40 years of experience in obstetrics, high-risk pregnancy, and infertility treatment. He is recognized as one of the leading obstetricians and gynecologists at Bach Mai Hospital.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Bá Nha specializes in managing complicated deliveries, high-risk pregnancies (including patients with medical conditions such as hemodialysis, placenta accreta, cardiovascular diseases, etc.), and severe genital abnormalities or complications. Notably, he has extensive experience in advanced infertility treatments, including IVF, ICSI, PESA, day-5 embryo culture, and assisted hatching.
He formerly served as the Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Head of the IVF Assisted Reproduction Unit at Bach Mai Hospital. He is also a lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hanoi Medical University, participating in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervising doctoral research. He contributed to the establishment of the Assisted Reproduction – IVF Unit at Bach Mai Hospital, which was officially approved by the Ministry of Health in December 2013. Under his leadership, management, and development, the unit has acquired modern equipment and implemented advanced reproductive technologies used worldwide.
