FV Hospital is a private, fully foreign-owned hospital founded by a group of French doctors led by Dr Jean-Marcel Guillon. The hospital opened in the Phu My Hung urban area on April 11, 2003. In 2024, it became a member of Thomson Medical Group, one of Southeast Asia’s leading healthcare providers headquartered in Singapore.
FV was the first hospital in the region to receive HAS (Haute Autorité de Santé) certification from the French National Authority for Health in 2007. It is also the only hospital in Southern Vietnam to earn JCI international accreditation four times in a row, from 2016 to 2025. Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory (Cath Lab)
FV’s Cath Lab is designed to international standards and equipped with the latest Philips DSA FD20 digital angiography technology. Da Vinci Xi Surgical Robot System
FV provides one of the most advanced surgical robot systems in Southeast Asia, enabling surgeons to perform complex minimally invasive treatments. The system is commonly used in thoracic surgery, general surgery, urology, gynaecology, gastrointestinal, and ENT.
Elekta Infinity Linear Accelerator
The Elekta Infinity linear accelerator, located in the Hy Vong Cancer Centre, allows for modern radiation procedures that are available at a limited number of hospitals in Vietnam, including VMAT and SBRT.
Neurosurgical Navigation System
This advanced technology provides surgeons with precise localisation of tumours, brain tissue, and critical structures during surgery. It is particularly useful in complex brain tumour cases, supporting accurate tumour removal while preserving healthy brain tissue and reducing surgical risks.
CyberKnife S7 System
The CyberKnife S7 is a robotic radiosurgery system designed to treat tumours in nearly any part of the body without surgery. It provides a safer, more precise, and non-invasive option for cancer treatment. The system is expected to be installed at FV Hospital in the near future.

FV Hospital provides free interpretation support in Japanese, Korean, Khmer, Chinese, Russian, French, English and other languages, available 24/7 upon request.

Cashless services
FV Hospital has signed a Direct Billing agreement (also called Third Party Agreement) with several insurance companies so that many services can be provided in a cashless way.
If you are covered by an insurance company which is a member of our Direct Billing Network, this means that the hospital will claim to and receive funds directly from your insurance company, bringing you greater convenience and peace of mind.
If a patient’s insurance company is not a member of FV Hospital’s Direct Billing Network they will be required to pay like any other patient for each service they receive. The FV Hospital Insurance Officer is pleased to:
